Qualified Japanese teacher with 13 years experience; she has been teaching Japanese language, culture and literature; gained academic experience at the Jagiellonian University and Wroclaw University.

Graduate of Jagiellonian University (received MA in Japanese Studies). Completed doctoral course at the same university and received PhD in the Humanistic in 2005.

Magdalena Kowalska, MA


Graduate of Polish and Japanese universities (received MA in Oriental Philology from Jagiellonian University and MA in Japanese Studies from Osaka University). As a Monbukagakusho scholarship student has been studying Japanese language and culture at Tokyo Gakugei Univeristy and Osaka University.

Fluent in three languages – Polish (native speaker), English and Japanese. University Diplomas and numerous language certificates authenticate good command of English and Japanese language.

Katsuhiko Shiota , MA

Graduating from University of Kitakyushu in Fukuoka, Japan, he obtained the MA degree in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama in University College Dublin.
For 12 years he’d had a proffessional course of Japanese calligraphy in Japan.

He worked and got experience in the countries like the United States, Australia, Canada, and France, trying to learn more about European cultures.
Currently he resides in Poland and will stay here to spread Japanese culture.

He is interested in art, reading books, and travelling.
When he started learning Polish, he had an idea that Japanese is much easier.
